What is Radiodays Asia?

Radiodays Asia is a collaboration between Radiodays Europe, the world ́s largest and leading conference for radio, audio and podcast, and broadcasting partners in Asia and Australia. The 2022 edition will be a 2 day conference, full of new ideas and progressive business trends, including some educational training workshops in specific areas of interest.

What happens at Radiodays Asia?

At Radiodays Asia 2022, attendees will hear the best international speakers from around the world sharing their knowledge. The programme is full of interesting topics on how to make successful shows, content development, AI and new technology, new business opportunities, the latest trends and all about how to succeed in podcasting. You will meet radio professionals, executives, experts, producers, podcasters. 2 days with 2 parallel tracks of sessions, in-depth educational workshops and the exhibition area with top of the line service providers showcasing the latest in tech and trends. Add to that the networking and interaction opportunities in our MEET-Ups. You might learn just as much by meeting a colleague from another country as you do from the experts on stage. And join us for the evening event and enjoy the taste and sound of Asia.

Venue

Radiodays Asia will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel (11, Jalan Sultan Ismail) in central Kuala Lumpur. It is an in-person event, but hybrid, so also available online. With their ticket, attendees can access the recordings for 30 days after the event.

Radio Asia - Super conference

This year, The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union ABU will hold their annual flagship event ABU Radio Asia on 4-5 September, the days preceding Radiodays Asia, at the same venue. With these two major radio events held back to back, Sponsors and Partners of Radiodays Asia have the possibility to extend their sponsorship and exhibition presence to the ABU event by adding the Monday 5 September to their sponsorship package. The offers in this brochure describe the partnership packages for Radiodays Asia on 6-7 September. Options that are extendable to include Monday 5 September are marked accordingly.

Exhibiting Options
The quoted rates cover the exhibition during Radiodays Asia 2022 on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 September 2022.
All Radiodays Asia 2022 exhibiting options can be extended to include Monday 5 September for ABU Radio Asia, with a supplement of 30% on the quoted rate. Stand positions and numbers will remain the same throughout the three event days. If space is available, it is also possible to only book exhibition space for ABU Radio Asia on Monday 5 September (and skip Radiodays Asia on Tuesday and Wednesday 6-7 September. Free build stand package (min. 4 sqm): USD 390.00 per 1 sqm
Provides empty floor space to create your individually designed exhibition spot in a minimum area of 4 sqm. Exact rules, restrictions and build-up / dismantling schedules will be defined and communicated in July 2022.

Provides a cost-effective option to present your services or products without having to attend an exhibition booth. Companies with poster panels / booked stand-alone banner positions will be featured in the list of exhibitors and in the floor plan. You can let your poster speak for itself, use your poster panel or booked banner position as your branded meeting point, or even attend it at times, so as to give interactive poster sessions to interested delegates.
Poster / banner spot will be allocated. No free choice of location.
USD 700.00 (1 poster panel OR 1 booked stand-alone banner position, no access pass included; RDA team will take care of setup)
USD 980.00 (incl. 1 conference pass if booked at the same time as poster stand / stand-alone banner position)

The poster / stand-alone banner is to be produced, delivered to the venue, set up and disassembled by partner’s own means, staff, or contractors.

Note: There is no exhibition surface attached to the poster / banner position. It is not permitted to improvise a stand by expanding into neighbouring surfaces or into the passageway. It is not permitted to add any furniture to the poster / banner stand, and / or to add non-booked banners. RDA staff will correct and eliminate this immediately upon noticing, and the poster panel / banner holder may be banned from the premises in case of repeated infraction against this rule.

Virtual exhibition stand package: USD 880.00
The physical exhibition at the Shangri-La Hotel will be complemented with a virtual exhibition on RDA’s virtual event platform for online participants. The exhibition packages 5.1 and 5.2 – and all 4 Partner status categories GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE and Supporter - automatically include an (optional) presence in the virtual exhibition. Companies who are not able to send team members to Kuala Lumpur can book a virtual exhibition stand, without having a physical booth on-site at the conference venue. The stand’s content and features are handled by the exhibitor’s own means (admin access) and can include contact details, company and product information, media such as videos / sound clips / images, downloadable files, links, and features to facilitate the setup of electronic meetings and to interact with delegates and speakers. The platform will continue to be live and online for 30 days after the event dates.

Virtual exhibition stand package rate includes:

There is a very limited number of 7-minutes speaking slots for sponsored presentations in the main programme. GOLD all-in package partners have priority, as these slots are part of their sponsorship package. Unused slots can then be booked by other partners.

Sponsored speaking slot rate includes:

first come-first served principle. Topic to be identified in agreement between RDA and the Partner.

Networking and Catering Breaks

Exclusive networking breaks and evening event branding on 6-7 September:
On Tuesday and Wednesday 6-7 September, there will be close to a dozen networking breaks in-between
conference sessions. In four of them, free catering will be provided to conference delegates and exhibitors: a
morning coffee/tea break and a buffet lunch break both, on Tuesday and Wednesday. For each of these breaks,
there is an exclusive opportunity for 1 Partner to brand the coffee/tea and lunch area with mini standees and
banners.

Furthermore, there will be a pre-dinner evening event on Tuesday 6 September, with cultural highlights from
Malaysia. This can also be sponsored by 1 Partner.

All catering buffet branding material is to be produced, delivered to the venue, set up and disassembled by partner’s own means or their contractors. In case partner’s staff can’t be present to take care of the set up and the disassembly, RDA will give assistance if informed at the moment of booking. Priority of choice will be given to partners as per the number of networking break branding they are sponsoring, e.g. partner A sponsoring 3 breaks will be able to choose their breaks before partner B sponsoring 1 break.

Exclusive ABU Radio Asia catering breaks and evening cocktail branding on 5 September:

On Monday 5 September, the ABU Radio Asia event will include a morning coffee break, a lunch and an afternoon
coffee break for all attendees. There will also be a pre-dinner evening cocktail. Sponsorship package price upon
request.
