Mark Cummins is the Content Manager for Audio and Languages at SBS, responsible for leading and developing content to cater for, reflect and encourage SBS audiences to explore the diversity of cultures in Australia and around the world.  This includes setting the day to day editorial direction for SBS Radio’s 68 language teams across the SBS Radio app, SBS Online, AM, FM, digital radio and TV. 

Mark joined SBS as Content Manager in 2007, and has played a leading role in transforming SBS Radio’s output, including new multiplatform digital initiatives such as SBS’ digital Pop music brand SBSPopAsia and SBS Arabic24 - a 24/7 digital radio and online destination that engages Arabic-speaking Australians in conversations about life ‘down under’ and the Arabic-speaking world.   

Prior to joining SBS, Mark had a successful track record in News and Current Affairs TV and Radio working with public and commercial broadcasters in Japan, Sweden and the UK.

Mark graduated from University of Osaka, Japan and holds an MBA from Handelhøgskolan in Olso, Norway.
