Biography

Shuko Kuroda is Founder and President of BariBari FM in Shukoku, Southern Japan. BariBari FM is one of the original community radio stations, and has been on the air since 2002 in Imabari-City, which is close to Hiroshima. Shuko was instrumental in setting up the station with support from Imabari City Council. Before launching BariBari FM in her hometown, Shuko was based in Tokyo, and prior to that studied in the U.S.
